She might not been active in the pop world. But Janis Ian does not leave her song writing skills behind. On this Yuming complication cover CD. She written a new lyric on this song from Yuming earlier career as she still call here maiden name Yumi Arai. Ear worm melody with the catchy lyric, into my playlist without a doubt

By Sun Sun (Thanks, not get your permission first and already used it, hope it is alright)
有腦袋的人只會擔心自己技不如人,沒腦袋的人只會抱怨自己沒人欣賞。

Mary Chapin Carpenter.......
Really enjoy strolling in the second hand store in Sino Center. Cos it brings surprise all the time. A 2004 released from Mary Chapin Carpenter for only 19 dollars. It's not about the money value, to find her CD in Hong Kong is not an easy task!
Kim Wilde - Another Step (Re-mastered Japanese Only Editiion)
It was 1987 when digital music just blooming. The very first compact disc I own was this Another Step from Kim Wilde. Before this trip I learned from the web that Japan will re-released this CD in its original vinyl design. Two days ago, as I lost myself in the street of Japan, I bumped into the familiar sign of Tower Records. Also found this album is already on sale. You can guess how excited I was!

Dave Aude and Alphaville
Dave is one of the hottest remix DJs in the pop world nowadays. His works including many hits from Gaga (Poker Face, Love Game, Bad Romance, Alejandro, Paparazzi), Sun's Fancy Free, Ono's Give me something, La Roux's Bullet Proof and even the latest from Sarah McLachlan's Loving You Is Easy is also by his golden hand.
I love his remixes a lot. It bring those song a full body of energy and I always feel like clouds are coming in and floating above me. I found out it's the beat he specially added on to those songs that attract me and I got a feeling that this sound are so familiar to me.
Not long after then I took out an old CD I really really like in the 80's. It was from a German band call Alphaville. From their not so commercially successful CD call "Afternoon in Utopia" There is a single call "Universial Daddy" that provided me with the answer. The back bone of the songs is base on some beat which sound exactly the same in some of Dave remix. Some are modified. But still can find the similarity among them.
