Dave Aude and Alphaville

Dave is one of the hottest remix DJs in the pop world nowadays. His works including many hits from Gaga (Poker Face, Love Game, Bad Romance, Alejandro, Paparazzi), Sun's Fancy Free, Ono's Give me something, La Roux's Bullet Proof and even the latest from Sarah McLachlan's Loving You Is Easy is also by his golden hand.

I love his remixes a lot. It bring those song a full body of energy and I always feel like clouds are coming in and floating above me. I found out it's the beat he specially added on to those songs that attract me and I got a feeling that this sound are so familiar to me.

Not long after then I took out an old CD I really really like in the 80's. It was from a German band call Alphaville. From their not so commercially successful CD call "Afternoon in Utopia" There is a single call "Universial Daddy" that provided me with the answer. The back bone of the songs is base on some beat which sound exactly the same in some of Dave remix. Some are modified. But still can find the similarity among them.
