Aimee Mann Live in Singapore 29 Aug 2009

Thanks to facebook that I know she is planning to come to Asia. Only too bad that she picked Singapore instead of Hong Kong. Well, it's been a long while since I have travelled to Singapore for leisure. So I'm happy to book my flight ticket and reserve my hotel room and most important of all, to book the ticket online. When all is said and done, I get on the plane and start my Aimee Mann Concert Trip.

The hotel I booked is right across the road to the concert hall. Once I checked in my hotel room, the first thing I wanna do is to pick up my concert ticket. Just to be sure that I can attend the concert the next day. Walking around the concert hall, I find a flyer of the concert. Good to know at least there are some promotion of the concert.

The concert is on a Saturday night and the concert hall complex was very alive in that evening, compare to the previous day when I collect the ticket. A lot of Singaporean come to this area for entertainment. But my only attention was how to get in the hall on time.

The concert hall itself look a bit small to me, I guess about a thousand seats, think it's just right about for singer like Aimee. The seat are almost fill up. I was imagining if this was Hong Kong, it could have more empty seat.

What I will expect from her? In fact nothing, I won't expect she dance, talk too much.. like those HK pop concert. A concert is about listening to your favourite singer sings their songs. That's what I expect. 110 minutes of cheering and applause. I like it!

There was an autograph session after the concert too. I have thought, Do I want a picture with Aimee? Nope, she is not that type to me. So I left for my night out.........
